The other day I caught up with Author & Founder of The Gentle Barn Ellie Laks via Zoom. I had good time learning a little more of her story, and some of the history of The Gentle Barn. They have 3 locations in St.Louis, Nashville & Los Angeles. They gained some national attention in St.Louis when they rescued 6 cows that escaped a truck heading to slaughter. They raised the funds to buy their and gave the cows a home at The Gentle Barn. You can learn all about "The St.Louis 6" and meet on Sunday's when they are open to the public.
