The other day I caught up with Author & Founder of The Gentle Barn Ellie Laks via Zoom. I had good time learning a little more of her story, and some of the history of The Gentle Barn. They have 3 locations in St.Louis, Nashville & Los Angeles. They gained some national attention in St.Louis when they rescued 6 cows that escaped a truck heading to slaughter. Over the weekend I took a drive out to Marine, IL to meet up with some new friends at The BARn. Gene Halbrooks turned his barn into a venue hosting a few shows a year.
